Dear Customer, in accordance with the current regulations on the protection of personal data (EU Regulation No. 679 of 2016), we would like to inform you that the processing of your personal data is carried out with correctness and transparency, for lawful purposes, while safeguarding your privacy and your rights.
The processing is also carried out with the help of computerized means for the following purposes:
- to acquire and confirm your reservation of accommodation services and additional services, and to provide the requested services. Since these are treatments necessary for the definition of the contractual agreement and for its subsequent implementation, your consent is not required, except in cases where special, so-called sensitive data are provided. In case of refusal to provide personal data, we will not be able to confirm the reservation or provide the requested services. The processing will end upon your departure, but some of your personal data may need to continue to be processed for the purposes and in the ways indicated in the following points;
- to fulfill the obligation provided by the "Consolidated Law on Public Security" (art. 109 R.D. 18.6.1931 No. 773) which requires us to communicate to the Police Headquarters, for public security purposes, the personal details of guests according to the methods established by the Ministry of the Interior (Decree 7 January 2013). The provision of data is mandatory and does not require your consent, and in case of refusal to provide them, we will not be able to accommodate you in our facility. The data acquired for this purpose is not stored by us unless you provide consent to storage as provided in point 4;
- to fulfill current administrative, accounting, and tax obligations. For these purposes, processing is carried out without the need to acquire your consent. The data is processed by us and our representatives, and is only disclosed externally in compliance with legal obligations. In case of refusal to provide the data necessary for the obligations mentioned above, we will not be able to provide the requested services. Data acquired for these purposes is stored by us for the time required by the respective regulations (10 years, and even longer in the case of tax investigations);
- to expedite registration procedures in case of your subsequent stays at our facility. For this purpose, subject to obtaining your revocable consent at any time, your data will be stored for a maximum period of 24 hours and will be used when you are our guest again for the purposes mentioned in the previous points;
- to carry out the function of receiving messages and phone calls addressed to you during your stay. Your consent is required for this purpose. You may revoke your consent at any time. The processing will end in any case upon your departure;
- to send you our promotional messages and updates on rates and offers applied. For this purpose, subject to obtaining your consent, your data will be stored for a maximum period of 5 years and will not be disclosed to third parties. You may revoke your consent at any time;
- for the purpose of protecting people, property, and company assets through a video surveillance system in certain areas of the facility, identifiable by appropriate signs. Your consent is not required for this treatment, as it pursues our legitimate interest in protecting individuals and property from possible attacks, thefts, robberies, damages, acts of vandalism, and for fire prevention and occupational safety purposes. Recorded images are deleted after 7 days, except on holidays or other closure days, and in any case no later than one week. They are not disclosed to third parties, unless there is a specific investigative request from the judicial authority or the judicial police.
We also want to inform you that the European Regulation acknowledges you certain rights, including the right of access and rectification, or erasure, or restriction, or objection to processing, as well as the right to data portability, if and to the extent applicable (articles 15 to 22 of EU Regulation No. 679 of 2016). You can also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, following the procedures provided by current regulations.
